How to rack a Mini.

I recently tried to rack 4 Mac Minis that we’re using for performance QA testing. Nice boxes, not really meant to be rack mounted, but in a seismic area like this, I wanted to make sure they didn’t move around much.

The bottom of these have friction pads which prevent slippage and probably something for vibration.

I originally started to mount them vertical but they wouldn’t stay put and I didn’t have any rubber feet or anything like that nearby.

These guys (http://www.macminicolo.net/facility.html) seem to have fashined their own system.
